Would you hire a plumber to do your ceramic tile installation?

If you're about to let a handyman or carpenter install your tile, you might just as well give the job to a plumber.

Why let an amateur do your tile installation?

Everyone thinks they can set tile ... and when construction is slow, everyone becomes a tile setter.

They'll all tell you they can set tile. But, that doesn't mean they know how. And, there's a world of difference between their job and ours, too. Because tile installation is more than just spreading mortar and slapping the tile down.

A quality, professional looking tile installation requires the care and craftsmanship of a tile professional. Quality that is from bottom to top. That's why our installations always begin with an underlayment that is properly set in a mortar bed, a step often skipped by the part-time installer who will quote you a ridiculously cheap price ... we call it the "handyman job".

The handyman skips the underlayment, or doesn't set it in a mortar bed ... and he'll cut around door trim, too.

He won't be around when his installation fails, either.

We don't cut our tile around door casing molding like the amateur installers do. We undercut the trim. And we keep our lines straight, and our tiles evenly spaced. You won't find that in their job.

Only a tile professional has the skill, and the thorough understanding of tile, setting materials and setting methods that ensure a high quality installation. No handyman or carpenter can offer you what we do; a truly professional looking job that is fit for the cover of the home magazines.

The "sometimes install" guys will tell you they can set tile; but they only set tile once in a while.  We do it day in and day out.  Tile is our business.

When you choose a professional installation, you have the assurance that your tile is installed correctly.

Their low price offer is no bargain.  Because, incorrectly installed underlayment (or none at all), or the wrong choice of setting materials and improper setting methods, will all lead to failure of an installation. We have seen these failures time and time again.

Different tiles and different job site conditions require different setting products and setting methods.  We know which products to use and under what conditions, and will choose the products that are best for your job.
